A high-capacity rooftop solar installation covering 4,200 square metres of warehouse roof space. The system was designed to offset 85% of the facility's daytime electricity demand and includes a Smart Export Guarantee registration for surplus energy sales.
The Challenge
The client's 24-hour distribution centre had rising energy costs exceeding £180,000 annually. The roof required structural reinforcement assessment before installation due to age, and operational continuity could not be disrupted during the three-phase installation.
Our Solution
Bee Solar conducted a structural load analysis and coordinated phased installation across three roof sections, completing work during scheduled maintenance shutdowns. Tier 1 panels with 25-year warranties were selected for maximum efficiency in the north-west climate.
